This Stained Glass piece is called “Seahorse”

It was inspired by living beside the Salish Sea and always having a fascination for seahorses.

It was a rare find to find this Maple Wood already shaped into a Seahorse shape.
The glass added is a semi opalescent glass which really lightens up the colour of the maple wood.
We added a rebar pole under the seahorse to raise it up in the Garden and also allowed the piece to turn in the wind.

This piece was sold recently at an art show I was involved in here on the Coast for $295.00

The colours of the glass are ever-changing with the sunlight.

We inserted a pole to elevate the piece in the garden.

Truly a fun piece to create.
