This Stained Glass Pole is called “Salish Goddess”
The inspiration for this piece is from living beside the Salish Sea. The glass used in this pole is a combination of Semi Opalescent and Clear Water Glass.
The Wood used is red cedar and locally sourced on the Sunshine Coast. I make quite a few free standing goddesses and thought it might be fun to create in a pole. Love the colours in the piece when the light shines behind it.
This pole was sold to our dear friends Leslie and Kim and they are over the moon to have it in their yard. So grateful!
This piece could be created quite similar depending on what Cedar and glass I have available.
This pole sold for $895.00
The orange colour of cedar and blue of the glass compliment each other so well.
