This Stained Glass Hanging is called “Northern Lights”

The Semi Opalescent glass used on this piece truly looks like the Northern lights. It is so beautiful the way the light reflects through the colours of the glass.

The wood used is Dogwood which is a hardwood and it is locally sourced on the Sunshine Coast.
It’s not common to find Dogwood to work with so if you would like to order a piece like this, I would likely make it in Cedar as it’s more readily available.

My dear friend Lynn bought it who lives in Armstrong, it captures the light with Silver Star Mountain in the background.
