Hi Loree, Glass is adhered to wood with waterproof Silicone.
how do you secure them to the ground?
Hi Sharon; I use rebar to secure my pieces to the ground.
Hi, what is board width and router depth please?
Hi Denise; I usually use a board width of 1 1/2 inches, and just make sure the router depth is deep enough to accommodate the width of the glass.

How do you stand them up in the garden? How to make a stand for an inside display? What is the best board thickness do you recommend?
Hi Sheila; I use different methods to stand them up in the garden, and rebar is the most secure. I make a minimum 2 inch thick stand for indoors unless its a very small piece.

Hi! I have been searching everywhere for instructions on how to make these beautiful pieces. Do you cut the opening and then put a ledge inside? What tools do you use?

Hi Theresa; I am self taught. Just practicing with pieces trial and error. I draw the design on the wood, cut out with a jig saw, and create a ledge for the glass with a router. Thank you so much! I use a hole saw, jig saw, router. And lots of sanders!
do you sell these?
Hi Carin; I sure do. I mostly sell close to home as it’s difficult to send to other places as most pieces are pretty large. I will be in an Art Show on the Sunshine Coast this coming June.
